Gmail is quite possibly the best e-mail account that I have ever had. Not only does Gmail have a GB of space, but it is pleasing to the eye and very easy to use and feel comfortable with. It only took me about 2 minutes before I felt right at home with Gmail and made it my primary e-mail account.
One of MSN's new toys, Hotmail is without a doubt the most widely used mail service on the web. This doesn't automatically make it the best service, but it does give it the edge in getting new users. I used Hotmail way before Gates gobbled it up, and at the time I had no major complaints. Definitely worth looking at if you are looking for web based email.

Pretty cool service, although it lacks many of the features you would see in the major providers. But nonetheless, you do get a pretty cool looking email address that will help you support your faith if it applies.
